Jillian K. Waters
was born in Bogota, Colombia but spent her childhood in Japan & England where she studied acting and fell in love with theatre. Jillian received her BFA Cum Laude in Acting at Emerson College in Boston and her MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School in NYC, where she is now a proud lifetime member of The Actors Studio.
Some of her favorite Undergraduate and Graduate credits include: Fabiana Aziza Cunningham in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Ursula in Much Ado About Nothing, Maureen Peale in The Bluest Eye, Denise in Affections of an Alley Cat, Lois in February 14th and Jamie in Broken Bones. Her favorite Off Broadway credit includes, Two Days Till Dawn at the Gene Frankel Theatre, Emily Dickinson OUTERSPACE! at the Bushwick Starr Theatre, The Answer Killing Question: Buys A Crisis at the Crown Theatre, Blanca at The Actors Studio, and Marisol in Marisol with playwright José Rivera. Her favorite Los Angeles credit is Sex, Relationships and Sometimes Love at The Actors Studio, LA. She received her Shakespearean training at Oxford University in Oxford, UK at the RSC Midsummer Conservatory Program with The British American Drama Academy.
She recently started her own production company Mariposa Productions LLC and is working on producing her first short film Gaining & Losing with Besties Make Movies LLC and Mariposa Productions LLC. This is her first film that she has acted, co-wrote and produced. Gaining and Losing wrapped filming, color correction, sound mixing and is picture locked.
